“That place was like a prison to me” Singer Fabian Blu reveals about Naira Marley’s record label

Singer Fabian, identified as @heisfabian, was signed into Naira Marley’s record label in 2020. 

 

The singer during his interview with Chudeity reveals that he never liked the lifestyle of the record label. 

 

He further explained that, getting into Naira Marley’s record he met a different type of Yoruba people compared to the ones he has met before. 

 

When asked by the host if there was tribalism in Malian’s records, he expressly said “Yes”

 

Referring to the Record label, Fabian Blu said “It was chaotic and it was dysfunctional. I wasn’t given the freewill to express my creativity.”

 

Speaking on his royalties, Fabian explained that he has not been given any of his royalties for five years. 

 

Singer Fabian left Naira Marley’s record label, the same month Mohbad left.
