“I have carried this weight, this pain, this shame that was never mine to bear”. Singer Naira Marley Speaks Out After Court Exonerates Him From Mohbad’s Death

"I made peace with Mohbad. We understood each other beyond the noise" Singer Naira Marley speaks out regarding Mohbad’s death

Naira Marley was arrested and charged for bullying Mohbad, his signed artist, who died in 2023.

 

Following Mohbad’s death, Singer Naira Marley came under fire as many Nigerians believed he was involved in his death. 

 

The matter has been in court and Naira Marley has finally been exonerated. 

 

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the singer while celebrating his victory speaks on what he had passed through following the death of his signee. 

 

“I never thought silence could be so loud. I never thought someone I called my brother, someone I protected, would leave this world with my name in his shadow. I have carried this weight, this pain, this shame that was never mine to bear.” Naira Marley says.

 

He further explained that as a marlian, he’s not perfect, he has made mistakes as regards his business dealing with Mohbad, but he never declared war against him. 

 

He also explained that he made peace with Mohbad before his demise.
