The final words of Jonathan Campos, the pilot of the tragic American Airlines crash that claimed 64 lives, have been revealed.

His emotional uncle, John Lane, shared them during an interview from his home in Brooklyn, New York.

The 34-year-old pilot had expressed his excitement about an upcoming family cruise as he boarded the plane, just before the devastating accident.

Late Jonathan Campos, was described to DailyMail as ‘a good kid’. “I spoke to him as he was boarding the plane. We spoke for 10 minutes. I can’t believe it. He sounded really happy. He was looking forward to going on a cruise next week on the Icon of the Seas, the cruise ship. 10 family members were going to fly to Florida to take the trip with him. It was going to be a big celebration.”

Sadly, Campos couldn’t make it to this planned activity.
