Senator Natasha Akpoti, the lawmaker representing Kogi Central revealed reasons behind her clash with Senate president Akpabio.
During a plenary session, Natasha had a clash with the senate president over seating arrangement in the senate.
Speaking with Ahmed Isah popularly known as Ordinary President, the host of Bereke Family, a Human Rights Radio and Television Program, during an interview, Senator Natasha, explained the reason behind they’d scuffle.
“I am facing a lot of harassment. I have been going through a lot. And I have remained quiet because I didn’t want to be interpreted wrongly, I didn’t want any lawsuit against me, I just want to be given a chance to work”. Senator Natasha Akpoti says.
Explaining further, Senator Natasha Akpoti says “A lot of my privileges have been denied. I have been pulled out of many international activities that I’ve been part of since the whole night club incident that happened last year”
“So every event that I have been going to since last year has been self sponsored. I have been going through a lot.
Yesterday, I didn’t speak out of order, he was reading my suspension and I had to invoke Order 10 which is an order of privilege.” Senator Natasha Akpoti speaks.
