Solomon was arrested in Ekiti state, where he resides with his parents and the victims parents.
According to the state police spokesperson, SP Sunday Abutu, Solomon was arrested on Friday before he could carry out the ritual.
He said “I was told he won’t die, he’ll only be sick. I’ve promised to take care of his education”
In a video circulating online, the young man said he intends to take care of the boy’s education and buy things for him after using him for money rituals.
